Mirage – Glass Art Group Exhibition made in collaboration with Galleri Montan
RVNHUS is pleased to introduce a group exhibition ‘Mirage’ of glass art from 5 astounding glass artists from 23rd of September.
Pulsating contemporary glass artworks by Fredrik Nielsen (SE). Inspired by pop-culture, grafitti, music, videos and performance art Fredrik invites you to challenge the existing norms within contemporary craft plus art, and everyday normality.
Glass artist George William Bell's work is mainly focused on highlighting and exploring the nuanced moments where the material glass expresses its innate qualities.
Jonas Noël Niedermann (CH) attributes his precise eye for shapes and dimensions to the mighty Swiss mountain ranges he grew up in. Working with those who devoted their entire lives to glass art, he developed a unique appreciation for the intricacies of glass, studying everything from the big picture to the smallest details. As a result he has an artistic voice that is strongly individual while echoing the works of historical greats.
Maria Bang Espersen (DK) seeks to expand the viewer’s perspective through her work in glass. By stretching and bending the molten material, her sculptures show a frozen movement, while the glass retains a soft look - many hidden wonders within.
Stig Persson (DK) works with a strictly abstract constructivist and minimalist expression in his glass works, which occasionally contains reminiscences of identifiable surroundings.
